The Taierzhuang district of Zaozhuang city, East China's Shandong province, has promoted industrial transformation and upgrading to high-end, green, and intelligent features since the start of this year.

The district launched 10 technological transformation projects in the first four months of the year, and established two digital manufacturing plants, with industrial enterprises reaching an output value of 3.23 billion yuan ($501.6 million) through to April, up 28.6 percent on a yearly basis.
