Visitor arrivals to Hong Kong drop by over 99% in Q1 amid COVID-19

HONG KONG - The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) said on Friday that visitor arrivals to Hong Kong in the first quarter this year declined by 99.5 percent year-on-year to 16,538.
According to the figures released by the HKTB, compared with the same period last year, visitor arrivals in March dropped by 91.9 percent to 6,675, making March the 14th month to witness a decline of over 90 percent since February last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
