Livestreams showcase new dimensions in communication between Chile, China
2020 is an important year, being the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Chile. To celebrate this important milestone, Chile not only brought online an official Chilean food flagship store to T-mall to offer more convenience to Chinese consumers, but also opened an offline Chilean National Pavilion at the Greenland G-Hub.
Along with "Colorful Chile" online and offline activities, a short Chilean video was played for two weeks throughout all public transportation in Shanghai. More than 20 million people could watch "Colorful Chile"-themed videos through 58,000 mobile TV screens on 16 subway lines and 9,500 buses in Shanghai.
Chile is the birthplace of safe and quality food, the spiritual home of many literary masters, and a passionate soccer paradise. In the future, ProChile Shanghai will bring more livestreams and activities with additional interesting themes, showing the many charms of Chile from unique perspectives.
