New confirmed COVID-19 cases rose by five as of 5 pm on Tuesday in the last 24 hours in the Kashgar prefecture of the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, with all coming from asymptomatic carriers according to the local government. At the same time, asymptomatic carriers of COVID-19 increased by 19.
