Yinchuan photographer documents 40 years of change

A photographic exhibition featuring changes taking place in Yinchuan city, Ningxia Hui autonomous region, over the past 40 years recently kicked off at Yinchuan Art Gallery.
A total of 288 exhibits, selected from hundreds of thousands of photos by photographer Zhan Anwen, mainly focus on urban development, city builders and residents of Yinchuan.
Zhan, a press photographer for local media, has kept up his observations and continuous recordings of life as well as his work for news reports.
Zhan's photography shows the real daily life of Chinese people, presenting a real, vivid, diverse and modest China to the world.
