Iraq confirmed 163 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number in the country to 4,632.

An Iraqi parliamentary crisis committee on Monday demanded reimposition of a full curfew after the end of the Eid al-Fitr holiday to curb the latest surge of COVID-19 cases.

In Jordan, both the public and private sectors will resume work on Tuesday after more than two months of stoppage as part of the measures to curb the spread of COVID-19, as the kingdom reported three cases of coronavirus on Monday, bringing the overall number to 711.
