Thanks to a bamboo plantation in France, giant pandas in Pairi Daiza in Belgium are in perfect shape and great health.
Each week, about 1000 kg of over 20 different species of fresh bamboo are delivered from France to Belgium, but the one they love the most is the phyllostachys bissettii, a species found in Sichuan, the pandas' home in China.
