Based on audio and video data, an AI-based multi-modal synthesis technology, called Sogou's Vocational Avatar Technology that creates virtual avatars emulating real people, can have lifelike communication with people. The technology is supported by speech recognition, natural language processing, information retrieval, knowledge maps and deep learning, the company said.
At present, the technology has already been applied to customer services, law, meteorology, media and conferences.
