KUNMING - The "2019 Colorful Yunnan Belt and Road International Football Tournament" will be held here this month.

The capital city in China's southwestern province of Yunnan will play host to four football teams from four countries from December 11 to 15.

"FC Schalke 04 II, FC Crvena-Zvezda II, FC Spartak-Moscow II, and China U-20 will participate in the event. We will adopt the round-robin system," organizing committee spokesman Ge Xin told Xinhua on Monday.

The event is an international football competition held by the Chinese Football Association and the Yunnan Provincial Bureau of Sport.
