Hong Kong residents on Tuesday paid tribute to an elderly man who died on Thursday from head injuries he suffered after he was hit by a brick thrown by a rioter near the North District Town Hall in Sheung Shui, the New Territories.
The man is the first person to die in a series of vicious assaults by rioters against citizens since violent protests broke out in June.
