Spain to host COP25 climate summit in Dec: UN

The COP25 climate summit will take place in Madrid, Spain from Dec 2 to 13.
"We are pleased to announce the COP Bureau has agreed that COP25 will take place from 2-13 December in Madrid, Spain," said an online statement of UN Climate Change Executive Secretary Patricia Espinosa, which was released on Friday.
The Conference of the Parties (COP) is the formal meeting of parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).
