Shanghai Juss International Sports Center also launched the sports park's official Weibo and WeChat accounts during the ceremony. These platforms would allow members of the public to keep up with the latest developments at the park.
The construction of the park is in line with the national strategy to develop a strong sporting nation by 2050 and build a 5-trillion-yuan sports industry by 2025. The Chinese government has also set a goal of having 45 percent of the population participate in medium-intensity workouts three times a week by 2035.
