Raul Modesto Castro Ruz, former Cuban president, born June 3, 1931

In 2008, Raul Castro was officially elected president of the State Council. In April 2011, the sixth congress of the Communist Party of Cuba, or PCC, elected Castro as first secretary of the party. In April 2016, the seventh PCC congress reelected Castro as first secretary of the party. In April 2018, he finished two terms as Cuba's president.

Starting from 1981, the princess has visited China many times, traveling to many places across the country, such as Sichuan province, and offering donations to earthquake victims in Yunnan province. She has accomplished a lot in exchanges among the two countries in the fields of culture, education, and science and technology.
