Pre-wedding photos are a booming industry in China, as young couples spend time and cash lining up glamorous photo shoots to display on their big day. According to a report by Qianzhan Research Institute, about 81.82 percent of young couples prefer to take pre-wedding photos.

Before, young Chinese couples used to have their wedding pictures done at indoor photography studios. In recent years, as China's per capita disposable income rises continually, some people are more willing and able to indulge in premium pre-wedding photo shoots.

More young couples are looking to hold unique weddings and have stylish customized pre-wedding photos taken at overseas resorts. The business of overseas weddings and photo shoots has taken off, and the number of people getting photos taken at overseas scenic sites has started to rise.
