8th Beijing Intl Art Biennale opens

The eighth Beijing International Art Biennale kicked off at the National Art Museum of China in Beijing on Friday, and will run through Sept 20. With a theme of "A colorful world and a shared future", the biennale is exhibiting 640 works of art from 113 countries. The show covers traditional Chinese paintings, oil paintings, prints, watercolors, sketches, sculptures, installations, as well as images and videos.
