The second film starring Chen Feiyu, a heartthrob and son of iconic auteur Chen Kaige’s son, My Best Summer will hit domestic theaters on June 21.

The film, which also starring young actress He Landou, is adapted from a best-selling novel penned by Liu Wanhui, better known by her pseudonym Bayue Chang’an.

Set in Harbin in Northeast China’s Heilongjiang province, the story is about Geng Geng, a teenager who is accidently enrolled in the most prestigious school in the city.

There, Geng gets support and help from Yu Huai, a genius.
