Honeywell International Inc has signed a cooperation agreement with Sinochem Group, the State-owned chemical firm on Wednesday, during the China International Import Expo.

Under the agreement, the two parties agree to jointly boost China's digitalized transformation. With Honeywell's connected plant technologies, Sinochem is looking to achieve a better performance in cost control, security, quality, product delivery and environmental safety.

The US-based manufacturing and technology conglomerate has also agreed to provide its artificial intelligence technologies in the steel industry, including big data analysis and robot self-learning, to build an advanced connected factory.
