Canada will host a two-day meeting of trade ministers in Ottawa from Oct 25 to 26 to discuss how to reform the troubled World Trade Organization as it faces a crisis amid complaints by US President Donald Trump that the body is biased against his country.

Canada has put forward suggestions on e-commerce, investment protection and accelerating trade with developing countries.

The invitees are Australia, Brazil, Chile, the European Union, Japan, Kenya, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, Singapore, the Republic of Korea and Switzerland.
