Chinese online travel booking platform Ctrip released the Travel Tendency Report on 2018 Mid-Autumn Festival and National Holiday recently, based on the big data of its online travel booking and 7,000 offline stores as of mid-September.
The upgrading of travel conditions, more convenient transportation modes, such as high-speed rail, and price cuts at national State-owned scenic spots promoted domestic tourism for this October, the report said. The three-day Mid-Autumn Festival holiday from Sept 22-24 and the seven-day National Holiday from Oct 1-7 are contributing to a booming autumn travel season.
