China has 120 companies in this year's Global 500 list, just behind US, with 126 companies, and ahead of Japan, 52 companies.
According to the list's publisher Fortune magazine, eight Chinese companies recorded the top 10 biggest jumps this year, and the ranking of internet companies have significantly increased.
