The world's 100 largest luxury goods companies generated personal luxury goods sales of $217 billion in the fiscal year of 2016, according to a report released by the audit firm Deloitte France.

LVMH remained the world's biggest luxury goods maker by sales, followed by the Estée Lauder Companies Inc and Compagnie Financière Richemont SA, the report said.
