Xinjiang students cross country by scooter

Lati Mulati, a native of Northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, is an undergraduate student at Southwest Minzu University in Southwest China's Sichuan province. On January 1, he and Ayados Shakhdarati, another Xinjiang student from the university, rode scooters from the entrance to the university, passing Sichuan, Shaanxi and Gansu provinces before reaching their destination in Hami, Xinjiang. Their journey lasted 53 days and covered more than 2,200 kilometers. [Photo provided to chinadaily.com.cn]
