"In the field of talent shows, Sohu TV plans to launch a new program each month. The traditional music- and dance-oriented shows will not be our main target. Instead, our video platform will pay more attention to combine talent shows with some overlooked fields," said Lu Naning, general director of the talent show department, Sohu TV.

The upcoming show The Incredible Library will center on the story behind six fantastic libraries and recommend some books that are worth reading, while Two Men And A Dog is a traveling show that records the funny and interesting journey of two middle-aged men and a pet.

"Sohu TV's self-produced variety show will not purchase the copyright of established TV shows. Blindly believing in big productions with huge investment is not our style anymore. Instead, our team will target certain groups and launch certain TV shows in the near future," Lu added.
