Broadway musical 'Legally Blonde' comes to Beijing

After playing in Shanghai and Shenzhen, the Broadway musical Legally Blonde opens in Beijing from Jan 10 to 14 at the Poly Theater.
The musical tells the story of Elle Woods, who enrolls at Harvard Law School, and is based on the novel by Amanda Brown and the hit comedy movie in 2001, both of the same name.
Legally Blonde premiered in 2007 and received seven Tony nominations that year.
In 2010, the musical moved to the West End, where it was nominated for five Laurence Olivier Awards and won three, including the best new musical award.
Directed by Jeffrey Moss, Legally Blonde also has two dogs in the cast — a Chihuahua named Bruiser and a British bulldog called Rufus.
