Typhoon Haitang lands in East China's Fujian

FUZHOU - Typhoon Haitang, the 10th typhoon this year, landed at 2:50 a.m. Monday in Fuqing City, east China's Fujian Province.
Packing wind of a maximum speed of 18 meters per second, the tropical cyclone came after the ninth one Nesat, which landed in the same city at 6 a.m. Sunday, according to the provincial meteorological observatory.
Typhoon Haitang made landfall at 4:40 p.m. Sunday in Pingtung on the island of Taiwan.
