WUHAN -- Thirteen people have been arrested on suspicion of drug trafficking in central China's Hubei Province, local police announced on Friday.
Police seized 46 kg of hemp worth 22 million yuan ($3.2 million), one gun, four knives, two cars and one million yuan in cash during a raid on one suspect's home on Monday morning.
In January, police were tipped off that one suspect surnamed Zhang could be involved in drug sales in Wuhan City after purchasing drugs from Myanmar.
The 13 suspects involved have been taken into police custody. The investigation is under way.
