Guangdong's Party election results announced
Hu Chunhua was re-elected as Party chief of Guangdong province during the 12th Guangdong Provincial Party Congress, which occurred in Guangzhou, capital of Guangdong province, on Friday.
Hu promised to build a clean and honest Party and government leadership and construct a well-off society in Guangdong in the next five years.
Hu, born in 1963, is a native of central China's Hubei province. He has been the top official of Guangdong, an economic powerhouse in China, since December 2012.
Ma Xingrui and Ren Xuefeng were elected as deputy Party chiefs of the southern province.
Ma, born in 1959, is governor of Guangdong province, while Ren, 52, is Party chief of Guangzhou.
Shi Kehui, 56, was elected as secretary of Guangdong Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection, the province's top anti-graft body.
Other members of the standing committee of the Guangdong Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China are Wang Weizhong, Shen Haixiong, Lin Shaochun, Zou Ming, He Zhongyou, Jiang Ling, Yan Zhichan and Zeng Zhiquan
Meanwhile 70 Party members have also been elected to represent Guangdong province at the Party's 19th National Congress in Beijing later this year.
About 900 Party members from the province have attended the congress which occurred on May 22.
