The National Copyright Administration of the People's Republic of China launched its English website on Monday in Beijing, aiming to enhance international communication on copyright protection.
Wednesday marks the 2017 World Intellectual Property Day. The website, http://en.ncac.gov.cn/, has seven labels, including news and law and regulation, and more than 30 sub-labels.
The next step is to provide more information at the website.
China's intellectual property rights have made great progress in the past decade. The Sharp Sword, an annual crackdown campaign initiated by the administration, has focused on pirated music, videos, games, animation and software for 12 consecutive years to create a good online copyright system.
