I have seen a lot of changes in landscaping in Sanya and I have seen the addition of parks and the plan for additional wetlands in the city. All of these are very good ideas to reduce the amount of concrete and paved areas in Sanya and to wisely manage the water use. I am proud to see that we are focused on keeping Sanya clean and to treat our natural resources in a clever way.

Leo Nichols, general manager of Holiday Inn Resort Sanya Yalong Bay

A lot of changes have been taking place in Sanya: the Hongsha Tunnel is open; the highway from Linwang to Sanya has been renovated. What's more important is that the Sanya River has been better managed than before. Sanya's ecological recovery campaign has made the city a better place to live.

Jimmy Sung, general manager of InterContinental Sanya Haitang Bay Resort

The city has evolved tastefully over the past few years and at the same time still maintains its culture and heritage. We can see both the new and old Sanya every day. As a resident of Sanya, I have certainly benefited from many great changes from transportation, logistics, shopping centers to activities.

Hoss Vetry, vice-president and general manager of the Ritz-Carlton Sanya, Yalong Bay

Sanya has achieved several goals for its ecological recovery plan, including replanting trees to rescue over-exploited mountains, building more gardens and wetland parks and cleaning the Sanya River. The projects show the improvement of Sanya, which will let more tourists be confident of the city's environment.
