Over 70 funerary objects, including figurines of Hu people (a general term for people of non-Han origin)and a pottery camel and horse, were unearthed from a couple's tomb dating from the Tang Dynasty (618-907) in Huayin, Central China's Shaanxi province on Dec 4, 2014. Song Su, the owner of this tomb, was a county magistrate in Dunhuang during the reign of Emperor Gaozong (649 to 683) of the Tang Dynasty, according to Liu Daiyun, an associate researcher from Shaanxi Provincial Institute of Archaeology.
