ETON DORNEY - The United States snatched women's eight gold in the London Olympic rowing regatta on Eton Dorney Lake on Thursday.
World champions the United States finished the race in 6 minutes and 10.59 seconds. Canada took the silver medal in 6:12.06. The Netherlands settled for a bronze medal in 6:13.12.
